During my years in Italy, I was drawn ever more deeply to it all.
Yet what stayed with me most was not the beautiful things themselves.
It was the way people embraced them.
When people see something beautiful, they say so. When something moves them, they share it.
Fine design and craftsmanship are naturally respected, appreciated across generations, and remembered together with the names of their creators.
It was this openness to beauty, and this deep respect for craftsmanship, that drew me in.
Beauty, I realised, is not only something to look at.

The Origin of Our Name
RIVONTE brings together two Italian words: rivo, meaning a small stream, and fonte, representing origin.
It also carries a meaning drawn from the founder’s own family name.
When sensibilities from different cultures intertwine, new expressions of beauty emerge.
We believe in the possibilities this creates.
